About Pizza Pete’s
Pizza Pete’s is located smack dab in the center of New Hartford, CT and has been serving homemade pizza, grinders, and more for over 45 years.
Pete’s father, Anthony, an immigrant from Sepino, Italy, established New Hartford Pizza in 1974. His signature pizza was the Napolitano. Tonio’s New Hartford Pizza changed its name in the mid-1990s, and the same specialty pizza was renamed Plum Tomato & Basil. Growing up as Tony’s son working in the pizza shop, Pete’s friends and family nicknamed me “Pizza Pete”. Fast forward 20 years, and Pizza Pete’s was founded when Pete’s father passed down the family business.
The goal of Pizza Pete’s is to bring the same consistency and delicious Italian cuisine back to the New Hartford, CT area. The same crispy Italian Pan Pizza that customers came to expect when Pete worked alongside his father. Now, enough about the past.
