About Nutmeg Potters
Nutmeg Potters, located in New Hartford, CT, started its journey in clay at the Continuing Ed program once offered at Northwest Community College in Winsted, CT. When that was discontinued, Deb McNulty, the ever-encouraging instructor, opened a studio on Main Street in Winsted in 2013. Many of her students followed her and continued to improve on skills they didn’t know they had.
In June of 2023 Nutmeg Potters moved to the Hurley Business Park and continues to make functional wares for gifts and personal use that are for sale in the gallery. Nutmeg Potters does not currently offer classes, but it does have memberships for those with some experience in clay. The gallery and studio are open Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm or by chance.
