About Taylor Horse Farm
Taylor Farm, located in New Hartford, CT, is a horse farm that specializes in equine retirement. Situated on more than 36 acres, boarders send their horses here after their working years to return to being “just horses,” living naturally in small groups in grass fields, cared for by a knowledgeable and experienced staff.
Owned and managed by Lynn Taylor, a life-long equestrian with more than 35 years caring for horses, the farm has 33 residents, ranging in age from 11 to 35. Their backgrounds include retired racehorses, high-level show horses, pleasure mounts, trail horses, backyard pets and rescues. But one thing they all have in common is an owner who wants to retire them close to home, which we are very glad to accommodate!
We consider ourselves very fortunate to be in New Hartford, CT, a town that is extremely farm-friendly, in an area that has an abundance of beautiful open space and outdoor amenities, yet close to restaurants, shopping and activities.
