About Gresczyk Farms
Gresczyk Farms is a family-run farm located in New Hartford, CT in northwest Connecticut. The Gresczyk family uses integrated pest management techniques to grow 130 acres of vegetables, 600 laying chickens, and 1.5 acres of berries. Our primary goal is to grow or provide high-quality agricultural products that are produced in a sustainable manner. The Gresczyk Farm Store is open all year and you can find Gresczyk Farms at several Connecticut farmers’ markets throughout the year.We also have a CSA program, which is a great way to sample the farm’s produce.
We are also well-known for our home-grown, high-quality, and reasonably priced bedding plants. We grow lovely mixed hanging baskets and containers, or you can get everything you need to make your own. We also have a large variety of perennials. The Garden Center is open from the week before Easter until the end of October, when we run out of mums.
All of our Gresczyk grown vegetables are available in our store, including year-round fresh greens, herbs, and hydroponic lettuce. In addition, Gresczyk Farm products such as marinara sauce, primavera sauce, crushed tomatoes, salsa, spices, and Gresczyk raised pork are available. In addition, we sell eggs from our 600 laying hens year round in the following sizes: medium, large, extra large, and jumbo.
Gresczyk Farms offers a large selection of in-season CT-grown fruit from local farms in addition to our own products. In addition, our freezers are stocked with fresh cheeses, yogurt, pickles, sauerkraut, pierogis, pies, dairy products, and meats from Connecticut food producers. Hot sauces, honey, maple syrup, chips, all-natural bath and cleaning products, candles, jalapeno jam, bread, baked goods, and dog treats are also made in right here in New Hartford, CT.
